Read Heads

The read heads are an integral part of any RFID system and are the key component in the communication to the tag or transponder. All of the read heads are read/write and have a minimum IP rating of IP67 for very harsh environments. All IQH, IQH1, IPH and IUH read heads also connect back to an IDENTControl Interface/Controller. All other read heads are stand-alone and will communicate through RS232, RS485, PROFIBUS or Ethernet directly, depending on their interface type. All heads communicate at a specific frequency, either low frequency (LF) 125 kHz, high frequency (HF) 13.56 MHz, or ultra high frequency (UHF) 900MHz. Ensure that LF heads and LF tags, HF heads and HF tags, and UHF heads and UHF tags are used together. Components of different frequencies will not work together.
